Resin Flooring in Romsey

Romsey is one of Hampshire's most picturesque market towns, centred on its magnificent Norman abbey and laced with the clear chalk streams of the River Test. The town attracts residents who appreciate period architecture, independent shops, and a pace of life that feels a world away from the nearby motorway corridors — yet Southampton, Winchester, and the M27 are all within easy reach.

Ghuman Flooring delivers premium resin flooring to Romsey homeowners and businesses who want their properties to match the town's high standards. From durable garage coatings to elegant home interiors, we combine expert craftsmanship with cutting-edge materials, all backed by a 5-year warranty and a free site survey.

Why Romsey Homeowners Choose Ghuman Flooring

Romsey's housing stock is rich in character. Georgian townhouses line the streets near the abbey, Victorian and Edwardian homes fill the residential avenues, and newer developments on the town's edges offer modern family living. Whatever the age or style of your property, resin flooring enhances it.

The Test valley's chalk-stream environment means the local water table can be high, and ground moisture is a factor that affects flooring choices. Resin flooring's seamless, non-porous surface handles moisture admirably — it does not absorb water, will not warp or swell, and creates an impenetrable barrier that keeps damp at bay.

For Romsey homeowners who take pride in their properties, Ghuman Flooring's free interior design consultation adds real value. We help you select the perfect colour palette and finish to complement your home's architectural character, whether that means warm tones for a period cottage or cool contemporary hues for a modern extension.

Our Resin Flooring Services in Romsey

Garage Floor Coatings

Romsey garages often sit alongside beautifully maintained homes and gardens, yet the garage floor itself is frequently neglected. Our garage floor coatings bring the same quality inside.

Four systems are available:

• Flake System — Decorative vinyl flake in high-performance epoxy. Durable, slip-resistant, and available in a wide range of colour blends to complement your Romsey home.
• Marble System — Metallic epoxy that flows into unique, marble-like patterns. A stunning centrepiece for any garage.
• Polished Concrete Effect — Seamless and modern. Ideal for Romsey homeowners converting garages into home offices, studios, or entertaining spaces.
• High Build System — Our most robust coating for workshops, heavy storage, and mechanical use.

Professional surface preparation is included with every Romsey installation, ensuring a secure bond and years of flawless performance.

Resin Driveways

Romsey driveways set the scene for the beautiful homes beyond them. Our resin driveways use natural aggregate in UV-stable resin to create a smooth, weed-free, permeable surface that looks outstanding in every season.

The permeable finish is well-suited to Romsey's river-valley setting, where responsible surface water management matters. Rainwater passes through the surface rather than running off, meeting SuDS requirements and typically removing the need for planning permission.

With a wide selection of aggregate colours — from warm golds that echo the local Hampshire stone to sophisticated greys and silvers — your Romsey driveway can be as individual as your home.

Home Resin Flooring

Romsey's elegant homes deserve equally elegant interiors. Our home resin flooring options include:

• PU Comfort Flooring — Warm, cushioned polyurethane that is perfect for busy kitchens, hallways, and family rooms. It feels wonderful underfoot and resists the demands of daily life.
• Polished Concrete — A sophisticated, reflective surface that brings a sense of space and light. It works beautifully in Romsey's open-plan kitchen extensions and period-property renovations.
• Microcement — An ultra-thin overlay for floors, walls, and worktops. Transform your Romsey bathroom or kitchen without the disruption of a full strip-out.

Commercial Flooring

Romsey's commercial life includes independent retail along the high street, healthcare practices, veterinary clinics, and hospitality venues. Ghuman Flooring provides commercial resin flooring that meets the exacting standards of each business environment.

We deliver hygienic, slip-resistant, durable surfaces and schedule installations around your trading hours for minimal disruption.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is resin flooring suitable for a Romsey period property? Yes. We offer warm tones and natural finishes that complement period architecture beautifully, while providing all the practical benefits of modern resin technology.

How does the Test valley's high water table affect installation? We carry out thorough moisture testing during our free site survey. If elevated moisture levels are detected, we apply a specialist damp-proof membrane before the resin system, ensuring a lasting bond.

Can a resin driveway be laid over my existing Romsey driveway? In many cases, resin-bound surfacing can be applied over a sound existing base. We will assess your driveway during the free site survey and advise on the best approach.

Do you work in the villages surrounding Romsey? Absolutely. We cover Ampfield, Braishfield, Nursling, North Baddesley, Sherfield English, and all surrounding areas.

What maintenance does a resin floor require? Very little. Occasional sweeping and mopping with warm soapy water is all that is needed. No sealing, no waxing, and no specialist products required.
